Details & Project Brief

We were first contacted by the architect, Karen Parry Architects, for this project back in June 2020. At that time, the client expressed interest in our Internorm products for their house refurbishment. Following this, our surveyor visited the site to take precise window measurements. Since this was a retrofit job and the customer opted for the full installation package with us, an accurate survey was essential.

The project was fitted and completed the week before Christmas 2020. The customer chose Internorm UPVC/Aluminum triple-glazed windows and doors finished in RAL 9005 (black) both internally and externally. As shown in the pictures, this colour choice gives the windows a very modern and elegant finish.

For the rear of the house, the customer selected Internorm’s HX300 system. This system offers a modern, discreet design that maximizes natural light, making it ideal for large glazing areas. The HX300 features a Timber/Aluminum frame and a frameless appearance, allowing up to 10% more daylight to enter the space.

The retrofit process was straightforward for our fitters, and the result is truly impressive. The finished project looks stunning, reflecting the considerable time and thoughtful planning invested in the refurbishment. Everyone involved delivered outstanding work, creating an amazing home.

Furthermore, we are proud to share that we won the Best Window Replacement Company award at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards. This project was the entry that earned us the accolade, clearly demonstrating that this is indeed an award-winning home.
