In April 2025, we proudly opened our inspiring new showroom — The Cowshed — just outside Stirling in Central Scotland.

Glass Worx Ltd was founded by Mark and Steff bring over 30 years of combined experience in architecture, Passivhaus design, and high-performance glazing. Together, they are well-respected figures within the architectural glazing industry for their depth of knowledge and hands-on approach. Their shared passion for precision, performance, and thoughtful design naturally led to the founding of Glass Worx.
As a result, the company is built on trust, technical expertise, and a drive for continuous innovation.

At Glass Worx, glazing is more than a product — it’s essential to creating energy-efficient, beautiful spaces. We provide homeowners, architects, and builders with premium glazing solutions from leading brands like Internorm, Dako, and Qfort.

Whether it’s a Passive house extension, or new build, we offer expert advice, tailored service, and premium glazing systems.

Design is our first priority

Mark McLean and Steff Bell founded Glass Worx Limited in 2024. We provide architectural glazing solutions with a design-led focus. We select the best systems to enhance your building or project.

Experienced leadership team

Mark and Steff have collaborated on projects since 2011. They later led Scotia Architectural Systems’ senior management team. Supported by top European glazing brands — Internorm, DAKO, and Qfort — we launched Glass Worx. We combine design expertise and construction knowledge to deliver style and performance within your budget.

Steff Bell

Steff Bell has worked across Europe and the UK as an Architectural Technologist. He is best known for his contributions as a certified Passivhaus designer. Trained in Germany, Steff has been involved in the design of over 100 Passivhaus buildings. These include England’s first certified Passivhaus home and Scotland’s first certified Passivhaus educational facility.

Mark Mclean

Since 2011, Mark McLean has represented some of Europe’s leading architectural glazing manufacturers throughout Scotland. With a strong background in bespoke self-builds, commercial projects, and Passivhaus developments, he offers wide-ranging industry experience. Some projects values have ranged from £3,000 to over £12 million, showcasing his versatility across scale and complexity. Mark began his career as an Architectural Technician, which laid the foundation for his understanding of construction and detailing. As a result, he brings in-depth knowledge of building physics and construction to every project he supports.
